OK---I've already gotten wind that ya'll are coming to SC next year----when, where and all the good stuff...I know if I'm still breathing I will be there...I figure you are speaking of CHarleston as it has an air force base and alot of military and southern history...a nice tourist spot...my oldest granddaughter is going there to college....

TO ALL OF YOU THAT ARE GOING TO SAN DIEGO-THIS WEEK-----MY PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU IN YOUR TRAVELS AND AM HOPING YOU HAVE BEAUTIFUL WEATHER AND A GREAT TURN OUT...WILL SOMEONE PLEASE SEND ME A LIST OF WHO ALL WAS THERE AND HOW MANY NEW FOLKS YOU HAD ADDED THIS YEAR. AND WHERE AND A TENTATIVE DATE (IF YOU DECIDED ON ONE) FOR NEXT YEAR

I will also miss this years reunion due to dates. I planned for October. We have a cruise in September any my wife says I have to go on the cruise or sleep on the back porch.

Sorry to miss reunion. I'll mail my membership cx today. Great job with the website. I had already booked two weeks in LA for Memorial Day week (my daughter is Atty. in LA)but I do love CA. Hope everyone is well.

The sole reason for the reunion being held in September was venue availability. None of the hotels/resorts we looked at had a block of rooms for a group our size in October. Addionally, the Holiday Inn site chosen offered us the best room rate, free meeting rooms, and was most centrally located to the attractions the group will visit. Any other location would require hiring buses, which would raise the fee we all pay. Taking the time to contact all the membership to change the timeframe from October to September would take so long that the block of rooms in September would be lost. Next year's reunion will be decided by the group, as is custom.

I can't attend the Reunion this year because we have a previous committment in that September timeframe. Why did we change the previous time frames without asking everyone? October was a nice timeframe. Joy retires next year and it will be easier for us to attend them after that. I suggest that the next Reunion
be more in the middle of the country because of the fuel contraints.
